The "Subcategories" show who has asked for help.

This is the parent category for all "Help Wanted" requests. To write a request, include a link like [[Category:Comp Chem Help|What is the positional variance of a carbon atom at room temperature?]] in the article or discussion near the relevant section.

HelpWanted is a special category: all the sub-categories (but not the sub-sub-categories) will list the question instead of the article name. So a physicist reading the PhysicsHelp page will be able to see all the questions that have been asked. When a question is answered, delete the request or change its category from "Physics Help" to "Physics Answered".

See below for a list of categories; the numbers indicate how many outstanding questions each category has. Create new categories if necessary, and remember to edit their page and put [[Category:HelpWanted]] somewhere in the text. If the category doesn't show up here, the special Help Wanted features won't work.

Future plans for this site include an easier way to ask for help. But for now, just type in the entries as explained above.
